The shapes from the previous week were scaled up on much larger scale to create pattern pieces that could fit a human form. The shapes were then created before being applied on to the tailors dummy to create abstract silhouettes. I played around with the structure, positioning it in different ways to see the many different outcomes that could be created.
.
I joined up with another student and we put our structures together to see what forms we could create. Theses are the images of what we created.
To develop our designs further we then decided to scrunch up our structures and then place then back on to the tailors dummy to see the different forms that could be constructed....These are the results.
I think that by scrunching up the structures it altered the consistency of the garments we had originally developed. In comparison to this I prefer the garments that were made first hand as they had a more complex effect to them.
